Science at Bramley

Mrs Polden says… through their science learning, I want children to have the chance to develop the building blocks of knowledge to understand the world and how it works. They will have the opportunity to work practically and become an expert in many areas, such as: the incredible world of plants, animals and other living things; the fascinating properties of materials and how they impact the world around us; the spectrum of light and how we see and why we have shadows; and even how we don’t float away into space through how forces work - as well as so much more! I want to support children to be inquisitive and ask questions about what they see and experience, thinking carefully about information they gain to answer their own and others’ questions. As lifelong learners, I want them to understand how we can make a difference to the future.
