Computing at Bramley
Mr Taylor says... at Bramley, we want our children to become confident, creative, and curious about the world of computing. Our curriculum allows children to design, create and debug programs using Scratch, helping them develop essential problem-solving skills in an exciting way! We also bring coding to life by programming physical objects using LEGO WeDo and BBC micro:bits, allowing children to see their ideas come to life through movement and interaction. Alongside this, they will develop a wide range of digital literacy skills, including using Microsoft Office, iPads, and other tools to create and present content effectively. Understanding how computers, networks, and the internet work is a key part of our learning. We explore how these technologies connect us to the world and how we can use them to enhance our knowledge, creativity, and communication. Through our computing curriculum, we aim to inspire children to become critical thinkers, problem-solvers, and digital innovators—ready for the ever-changing technological world!
