School Uniform

Our school logo is the Bramley Fish.
We encourage our children to wear our school colours and clothes bearing the Bramley Fish logo, and have the expectation that parents and carers will support this policy by endeavouring to ensure the guidelines are followed. We have based our policy and subsequently the style of school uniform upon sound health and safety requirements.

Name Labels
All clothing and shoes should be clearly marked with the child’s name. To assist with labelling of clothes, shoes, water bottles etc you can purchase name tags from www.mynametags.com entering the School ID code 22325 will allow the school to earn a commission on your order. Ordering information can also be collected from the school office.

All uniform can be purchased from School Kit, 15 Church St, Basingstoke.

Other Clothing
The children should bring a PE kit into school in a drawstring bag. This should be brought into school on Monday. The PE kit will be left in the cloakroom area or classroom until Friday, when it should be taken home for washing.

Forest School
Year R and Year 1 take part in Forest Schools and they require a full change of clothes for this including long sleeved tops and trousers, waterproof trousers and jackets and wellies. In the winter you want to provide hats and gloves and thick welly socks. Forest Schools take place no matter the weather.

Lost Property
We endeavour to return all property found in school to the correct owner, if the item has been named. As we have very limited storage space, we store all lost property for two weeks. After this time, we donate all unmarked clothes, shoes and other items to the School Association Nearly New Uniform Shop and other charitable concerns.
